Yep, this is our backyard!

Go ahead: Be jealous!

This is an extremely natural stance of Lowell's. Not posed at all...

Lowell had a couple spills at the end. Don't worry, they were due to a long, steep, treacherous, icy, should-be-black-diamond hill (*cough* not really *cough*).

In my defense, these 'cross-country skiis' do not seem to be meant for going fast down hills. They are skinny and have no edge on them. What is a guy to do? TRY. I however failed miserably and it took me a few falls before making it down the hill. I am glad I gave my wife a good laugh. hehe

yay, looks like fun! I wonder if we'll succeed in getting Hunter on his xc skis this year?

Fun times! That looks like Victoria Park. Did you head out there on Sunday? I tried it out for a bit, but didn't have much luck. I'm blaming it on the wax...

We were wondering the same thing, where are the skis from? How about Lowell's? Looks fun but REALLY cold! Miss you. Love, Kylie

Yeppers, that would be Victoria Park. We went on Sunday, and our waxless skis did us quite well!
Kylie, we got our skis at Totem in Edmonton here. It's a good place. It was FUN, but it actually wasn't cold at all- maybe even perhaps a bit hot!
Miss you too M&K!!!! I look forward to BEING IN THE WEDDING PARTY WITH YOU. Aren't you PUMPED??? =)
