This is an extremely natural stance of Lowell's. Not posed at all...
Lowell had a couple spills at the end. Don't worry, they were due to a long, steep, treacherous, icy, should-be-black-diamond hill (*cough* not really *cough*).
In my defense, these 'cross-country skiis' do not seem to be meant for going fast down hills. They are skinny and have no edge on them. What is a guy to do? TRY. I however failed miserably and it took me a few falls before making it down the hill. I am glad I gave my wife a good laugh. hehe
I just got new skis for my old bindings. I still have the old skis though... do you want them? Of course we'll bring our skates and skis for Christmas. Can't wait!!
Fun times! That looks like Victoria Park. Did you head out there on Sunday? I tried it out for a bit, but didn't have much luck. I'm blaming it on the wax...
Yeppers, that would be Victoria Park. We went on Sunday, and our waxless skis did us quite well! Kylie, we got our skis at Totem in Edmonton here. It's a good place. It was FUN, but it actually wasn't cold at all- maybe even perhaps a bit hot! Miss you too M&K!!!! I look forward to BEING IN THE WEDDING PARTY WITH YOU. Aren't you PUMPED??? =)
This blog started as an engagement announcement, turned into a travel blog, then became a way to journal life with two boys and a pooch. Oh but that’s not all. Lowell has amped up the blind cycling, and he and his pilot, Mark, have their sights set on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics! In addition to Lowell’s cycling, Lowell and I have been capitalizing on many golden opportunities since being cast on season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada. Life has been a wonderful gong show, and I hope to give you a taste of it here.

yay, looks like fun! I wonder if we'll succeed in getting Hunter on his xc skis this year?

We were wondering the same thing, where are the skis from? How about Lowell's? Looks fun but REALLY cold! Miss you. Love, Kylie
