Picture Perfect

Whenever I dreamed of having kids, I always envisioned the stage that Fraser is at right now. It's just so PERFECT! He smiles/giggles easily, he's taking in SO much, he's small enough to tote around yet strong enough to support himself, he lets us take all sorts of crazy pictures of him, he plays well independently, and-- I can not stress this point enough--  HE'S NOT GETTING INTO TROUBLE!

Most of his peers are at least rolling around if not crawling or even WALKING, but not Fraser. He certainly doesn't lack strength, but he is in no hurry to move around. The other day I sat him in the living room and then spied on him to see how long he would last just sitting there. Within a couple minutes, his toys were out of reach, but he continued to sit there contentedly looking around, flapping his arms and babbling. After 15 minutes, I started to play with him not because he was fussing but because I felt bad for ignoring the poor kid and basically making him into an experiment. What an easy going little fella. PLUS, he's an amazing napper, and he's only been feeding ONCE at night (let's cross our fingers I didn't just jinx that).

Oh how we've been LOVING our little two-toothed Fraselnut!

Chillin in the stroller with his bud Liam...

Our little bookworm- so studiously adjusting his lenses before diving into his stack o' books...

Pause picture time for a wee poop break...

Ahhh... MUCH better!

Yep... we DEFINITELY lucked out with this kid!

Ok either my mommy brain is making me think I typed comments that did not appear or I am doing it in my dreams. I thought I left a comment on this post saying Happy Mothers' Day and I LOVE the picture of Fraser with the glasses!!! Are those Lowell's or your professional aging ones? ;)
