Evelyn (6 lbs 6oz) and Lynelle (6 lbs 11 oz) were born to Lori & Dave (Lowell's sibs) on March 3rd and they are soooooo cute.
They're apparently fraternal twins, but they sure look identical! I'm pretty certain that the bracelet on Lynelle's leg is still the only differentiating "trait".
This past weekend, Lowell and I had the opportunity to put our parenthood skills to the test! Well, it wasn't a TRUE test because Dave & Lori were still there, and also I'm incapable of breastfeeding at this point...but still. We DID get a chance to take a night shift and console the babes so Lori & Dave could get a bit more sleep.
Apparently we're not at our MOST alert/attractive in the middle of the night...
During the days, Lowell spent a lot of his time being a jungle gym for big sisters Carmen and Charlotte (and getting an intense work out at the same time)...
And I spent as much time as possible snuggling with these adorable little munchkins...
Here's Lori with Evelyn & Lynelle. The kiddies are cloaked with the 'hooter hider'...
Soooo sweet...
Uncle Lowell is AMAZING with Carmen & Charlotte, but he's also great with the babes...
Perhaps a tad frightened... but still totally smitten...
Lowell made these little numbers for Evelyn & Lynelle...
Carmen & Charlotte were also eager to help out with the twins...
Oh how we love our crazy little niecies...

As I've said before - SO CUTE! And I love the picture of Carmen (Carmen is the oldest, right?) with one of the little babes...she looks so grown up!
Way to go, Mama. Poppin' out mo ethan 12 lbs of babies. Those are some gorgeous girls. Blessings to all those lovely niecies!!
love this! So exciting to hold new little babies!
Oh that Lowell, what a character.
He will make such a great dad. You two won't need to buy a jungle gym for the kids or a gym membership for lowell!
HI, such neat pics. Nice to visit with you this AM, Lowell. Class did get underway and now all are off to the band office for lunch and presentations by the dental therapist. Really, I do earn my paycheque most days!!
Auntie Cheryl
... just love getting to know your family even tho we are so far away... beautiful children, blessed family and perfect aunty and uncle to play with ... what more could one want ...
Nice job on the dresses Julie, they're very cute. And I love Lowell's contribution to their wardrobe...and being able to tell them apart, the Thing One and Thing Two made me laugh.
LOL! You don't know me - I'm a friend of Janelle's from church... but also a friend of Jen vanTol's, and I found your blog through a link in the sidebar on hers!! Small small world!!
Anyway - LOVED this post! Always great to hear of anothers' perspective! Great job - very entertaining!
