Last weekend, a blogger-friend became a friend in the flesh! Shelley and I "met" through Marc and Kylie's blog and now we met in real life because she was out visiting Southern Alberta. Shelley, Fraser, Carlynne, Dan, my Mom and I had fun chatting, laughing, drinking tea, and eating oli bollen, chocolate, and nuts. Lavalife, eat your heart out. The blog world has more to offer!

About Us
- Lowell & Julie
- This blog started as an engagement announcement, turned into a travel blog, then became a way to journal life with two boys and a pooch. Oh but that’s not all. Lowell has amped up the blind cycling, and he and his pilot, Mark, have their sights set on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics! In addition to Lowell’s cycling, Lowell and I have been capitalizing on many golden opportunities since being cast on season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada. this is just like an internet romance, except...not
Dang! You got Oli Bollen! I can say that I'm more than a little jealous since I only got one REHEATED oli bollen when visiting my Opa and not a ton of icing sugar to go with it. Karyn ended up getting one as well and it was her first introduction to this fantastic dutch tradition.
