"When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours - we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness... and call it love - true love." Robert Fulghur
This is a big week for Kumeu! Yesterday was his half birthday (no we have not had a party; yes we sure plan to), today is his last day with (all of) his man parts, tomorrow is his first day withOUT his man parts, and he has to wear a cone over his head for a week. As we wouldn't want you to forget Kumeu in all his (potential) manhood, here is a smattering of shots taken over the last month...
I asked my boyfriend Chris if he wanted to take my cat Oscar to the vet to get his "manhood" removed. He said, "No man should ever take another male to get his balls chopped off." - Sorry for the use of the word "balls" there, but it had to be said for full effect! :) So who's gunna do it? You or Lowell? Ha!
This blog started as an engagement announcement, turned into a travel blog, then became a way to journal life with two boys and a pooch. Oh but that’s not all. Lowell has amped up the blind cycling, and he and his pilot, Mark, have their sights set on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics! In addition to Lowell’s cycling, Lowell and I have been capitalizing on many golden opportunities since being cast on season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada. Life has been a wonderful gong show, and I hope to give you a taste of it here.

I predict this will be harder on Lowell than Kumeu.
I'm sorry for the both of them.
What a handsome puppy. Hope that he is recovering well :)
