"When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours - we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness... and call it love - true love." Robert Fulghur
It's NOVEMBER, and Kumeu just went for a dip in the river. Usually we're sinking in several feet of snow by now (that may or may be a SLIGHT exaggeration). We've been having an uncharacteristically beautiful fall... and I like it.
Pitfalls of this November, however, include MOVEMBER. Yes, Lowell is attempting the mustache growth once again (gross)...
Kumeu is now 7 months old, but let's take a little trip back to his 6 month birthday.
He had a half birthday party and a monkey cake (because he's such a little monkey). He didn't eat any of his cake (as it was chocolate- oopsies), but he was eye-ing it alright...
Yum.
We made a new trick reel in honour of his half birthday. Here he is, ladies and gentlemen: Kumeu Einstein T.
Click here if you're viewing this on facebook or an RSS reader.
You also need to re-check his 12-week trick reel. HE'S SO TINY AND CUTE! We shed a few tears as we reminisced...
I don't know what it was about turning 28, but Carlynne and I completely independently decided to hack our hair.

Aaaaaaand AFTER:
Switchin up the style and angle...
Carlynne has gone funky short like this before. I, however, have not had hair this short since the pre-pubescent-crop days of elementary, and it's taking some getting used to. In the 3 weeks that it's been shorty short, I've ventured out into public with it down TWICE. I'm the queen of bobby pin trickery (i.e., going hog wild with bobby pins to disguise short hair). It's weird. Very weird... but also kinda fun.
This blog started as an engagement announcement, turned into a travel blog, then became a way to journal life with two boys and a pooch. Oh but that’s not all. Lowell has amped up the blind cycling, and he and his pilot, Mark, have their sights set on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics! In addition to Lowell’s cycling, Lowell and I have been capitalizing on many golden opportunities since being cast on season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada. Life has been a wonderful gong show, and I hope to give you a taste of it here.
